I have been trying to return a tamale for four Sundays

The tamale seller at Plaza Mijares in San Jose del Cabo had just sold out when I got there on Sunday morning. A woman in the line saw my face of complete defeat, opened her own bag and handed me one of hers, still warm. She said, I made too many. I do not believe her. I ate it on a bench in under a minute. I have gone back four Sundays to return a tamale and I have not seen her. I carry two with me now, in case. I have eaten both, so far.
