According to the latest projections from the National Meteorological Service (SMN), the region will experience heavy rainfall from the circulation of Hurricane 'Polo.'
Emergency teams have been formed to handle potential periscope calls and evacuation procedures. The region is also preparing for a potential threat, with officials outlining steps for residents to take.
The Los Cabos region is expected to see significant impacts from the approaching hurricane, with authorities taking proactive measures to ensure the safety of residents and visitors.
The National Hurricane Preparedness Plan (Plan DN-III-E) and the Marina Plan are also in effect, with preparations made for potential evacuations.
Local authorities have also dispatched 400 elements of the Army and Guard to monitor and assist with any necessary measures in Comondú, and two similar groups have been deployed in Los Cabos and La Paz, equipped with materials for shelters and aid for the population.
