Small wedding venue in Montreal?

Small wedding venue in Montreal?
Diensten 6 answers • Camila Machado
My partner and I want to have a very small wedding, just for our parents and us. We don't need anything fancy. Do you know of a small, affordable venue in Montreal where we can hold the ceremony? I've seen all the big wedding halls online, but I'm not sure if there's a place that can accommodate just 10 people or less.

Have you thought of getting married at the city hall? It's what I did, and then we celebrated with our guests at home. The city hall in Montreal is beautiful, and it's probably the cheapest way to get married. There's a maximum number of guests, though (I think 10 is okay, but you should check). The 'ceremony' is very short.

Rent a private room at a Pacini. As a bonus, there's all-you-can-eat garlic bread.

Mona Salehi, notary. She's very nice, and there's a small room.

Yes, the small room downstairs is nice, and it's easily accessible by public transport. The notary is very friendly and offers informative videos on marriage regimes and more.

Don't look for dedicated venues for that size. Plenty of restaurants have what you need.

I had a unique wedding experience. My father-in-law served as our celebrant, and our best friends acted as our witnesses. We decided not to rent a hall, so we looked into using alternative locations. You can actually use any place in the city as a wedding location, such as your apartment, a neighbor's courtyard, or a public park. However, you will need to obtain the right permit for the celebrant.
