We're planning a beach day with the kids and I'm concerned that the forecast is predicting 8mm of rain per day in late September. Does this mean we'll be stuck inside all day?

I think the forecast is probably being overly cautious. We've had days where it rained for a little bit and then the sun came back out. Worst case scenario, you'll get a short rain shower in the afternoon and then it'll clear up.
