Shops for small gifts in Los Angeles?

I'm looking for unique little items, mostly fun snacks, but also stuff like washi tape and post-its, to fill 25 small boxes for custom advent calendars. The price has to stay reasonable, under $10. Do you know of a good place?

You can find unique, sometimes pricey items at an old store in a historic neighborhood. They also carry smaller stationery items and support local artisans.

A local artist in Boyle Heights occasionally opens his studio to sell magnets and postcards of his art for around $10 each.

For reasonable prices, consider visiting a party supply or Mexican import store in downtown LA like Alebrije Imports, or browsing the shops in Chinatown.

Most of my items are over your budget, but I have a wide selection of $10 and under stickers, bumper stickers, pins, and other quirky gifts. I only sell online through Fab Hatters.

I appreciate your sharing! I'm glad there's a local artist with an online store, which makes it easy to find cute gifts like claw clips for my stepdaughters.

You can find shorthand and Landis stores on Larchmont Boulevard, or simply explore the area to discover other shops.
