Art Meets Environment in Cancún’s Festival of Oceans
The warm afternoon sun casts long shadows as I walk through the lobby of the Teatro de la Ciudad. Artwork hangs from the walls, each piece telling a story of the planet's future. This Saturday, Delphinus presents the partial exhibition 'Art and Environmental Education on Climate Change' as part of the 14th Festival of Oceans.

The exhibition features drawings from children across Mexico and other countries, depicting their views on environmental damage and the importance of protecting marine life. These innocent hands, wielding pencils, draw a stark reality, highlighting the urgent need to care for our blue planet.
As a digital nomad in Cancún, I find it inspiring to see how local organizations are combining creativity and education to address environmental issues. The event aims to connect families and spark interest in sustainable practices among the community. Walking through these displays, I am reminded of the simple yet powerful way art can convey complex messages.
