While the outer areas of Bangkok are considered safe, construction sites are still a concern. The issue lies in the way buildings are constructed, which hasn't changed since before the pandemic, during it, or after. I've witnessed some precarious structures, but they're not as alarming as others I've seen.

I'm in Bangkok and I've noticed that there's a low pressure mass slowly rotating over central Thailand, which is causing the rain. It's not a ton of rain, but enough to make my kitchen ceiling drip. I'm not worried about flooding, but I do need to get my kitchen ceiling fixed.

Living near the Mekong River in Isaan, I've experienced some close calls with flooding. Just a month ago, the riverbanks were at risk of overflowing, but the water has since receded. Although I'm not too concerned at the moment, I'm aware of the potential for flooding in the area.

In Isaan, I've been experiencing unusual weather patterns. It's not uncommon for me to see light sprinkles throughout the day, only to be followed by a sudden and intense downpour that lasts around 30 minutes. My land has been affected by these floods, but I'm sure the local rice farmers are benefiting from the excess water.
