Best area to stay in Bali for adventure activities and beach/party experience?

I'm planning a trip to Bali with four friends from January 14th to 26th. We're looking for adventure activities like jet skiing, water activities, quad biking, and exploring beaches. We also want to go out partying on the weekends but spend the weekdays shopping, getting massages, and relaxing by the beach. What are the best areas to stay in and what activities shouldn't we miss?

Every night is a weekend in Bali, so you can party every night if you want. Consider staying in one area, like Kuta or Canggu, for convenience.

You should stay in the Kuta-Canggu area for beach and party activities. It's also a good base for exploring the island. For adventure activities, consider Ubud, which has a lot of options like ATV and rafting.

Spending at least 3-4 nights in Ubud will give you ample time to explore the adventure activities in this area of Bali. For a group, renting a villa with more space might be a better option.

I've tried various adventure activities on my trips to Bali, including dirtbiking, jetskiing, and ATV. Doing one activity per day can be tiring, so it's a good idea to pace yourself. The beaches in Bali are also worth visiting, and I had a particularly great experience on Gili T, where I enjoyed the laid-back atmosphere.
