I wore my shoes on the wrong feet down the Sanur beach path

I walked along the Sanur beach path on a Saturday morning for twenty minutes feeling slightly wrong. A man selling kites finally said, very quietly, excuse me, your shoes. I had put them on the wrong feet. He said it so gently that I felt like a person with a secret. I thanked him, changed them on a bench, and bought a kite out of gratitude. The kite is on my wall. I look at it whenever I think I know what I am doing. It helps. Left, then right.
