Bali's Summer Vibes: White Party and More
It's that time of year again when the summer season is in full swing, and the White Party at Kudeta drew a crowd last Saturday night, proving that the party scene is as alive as ever. The festival atmosphere was electric, with everyone from old friends to new faces enjoying the music and good times. As the year progresses, Bali continues to spread out, and venues like Savaya and Sardine are now hosting events around the same time as the White Party, indicating a more dispersed but still lively nightlife scene.

Last weekend also saw the Merdeka long weekend, which brought a mix of excitement and manageable crowds. Traffic was more bearable, but driving a car anywhere remains a challenge. A bike is still the best option for navigating the island.
The Legian community celebrated Independence Day with a mini food fest and live music from the band Navicula. It was a nostalgic trip down memory lane, reminding me of The Beat Rock Fest in 2003. Navicula's new energy and stage presence made for an exciting performance, and it was great to see the area still buzzing with locals and expats alike.
Stay tuned for a special guest performance at Red Ruby this Saturday, as the artist is keeping his name under wraps for now. There’s always something new and exciting happening in Bali, so keep your eyes and ears open!
