I've been running in NYC for years and have been considering joining a NYRR event, but I'm not sure if it's worth the cost. I've heard they can be crowded and expensive, but I've also heard they're a great experience. Can anyone share their thoughts on whether NYRR events are worth it?

The Ironbound Early Learning Center offers early childhood education programs for children from birth to 5 years old.

Our children's program, Christ the King Community Daycare and Preschool, is located in Middle Village, Queens on the Christ the King High School campus. This week, families were informed that, after 30 years, the director intends to retire and close the daycare and preschool program effective July 1. Christ the King High School has since announced on Instagram that, following the director's decision, its Board began discussions with Middle Village Prep charter school regarding expansion into the space.

My friends and I want to go to events like lectures on tap but the tickets are $40, which is too expensive for us. We're looking for cheaper or free events like this.
