I have an 8-year-old cat that needs to be neutered ASAP, but I'm looking for a reputable place that can handle his aggression.
I live in Washington heights/inwood and I'm tired of the limited food options in my area. I've been ordering delivery from restaurants in the morningside heights area, which is about 4.5 miles away. I want to know if it's reasonable to expect the delivery person to make that trip.
The New York Public Library at 41st and 5th has a serene environment, perfect for those seeking a semi-private and plush feeling workspace. In nice weather, you can even enjoy the roof deck, making it a great option for those who want to work amidst nature.
ABC Beer Co. 5's on Ave B is always half empty, making it a great spot for a group of 8 to have a quiet night out. It's located in the East Village, and you can visit it on a Thursday night, when it's less crowded.
I have a broken leg, but am still supposed to move my car twice a week. I tried calling 311 and they gave me a number to call about getting a parking permit, but it was after 5PM on Friday when I called so I have to wait for normal business hours. In the meantime, has anyone ever gotten a permit like this before? I'm not sure if something like this even exists. My backup plan is to use crutches to go sit in the car during alternate side hours, but I have a job so that's not a great solution for the next 8 weeks. I don't have a partner and asking a friend to move my car 16 times over the next 2 months feels like way too big of a favor to ask of someone, but I also can't afford an extra $130 / week in tickets. Does anyone have any advice?
Check out Expansive Therapy for couples therapy - they may have therapists with availability on nights/weekends. They may have therapists with evening or weekend availability, which could be helpful for those with non-traditional work schedules.
I'm looking to get Zepbound to help with my sleep apnea and lose weight. I've seen two doctors so far and they won't prescribe it even though I do have sleep apnea.
Oddall is a great cocktail bar in the East Village, offering drinks priced at $18 to $20. It's a great spot to grab drinks before dinner, making it an ideal first date spot.
I'm in the process of buying a coop in South Brooklyn as a single woman. I'm 32 and hoping to start a family in the future so I wanted to plant some roots and start to feel stable. I make around $120k annually and have $60k saved. I plan to apply for the Home First grant to get some down payment assistance. The place I found is a 2-bedroom across the street from a nice nature spot, but it's far from the train.
