Alternatives to Zillow for selling a condo?

Alternatives to Zillow for selling a condo?
Housing 5 answers • Etienne Delacroix
We're leaving Edgewater, a neighborhood that's been great for us, but since having kids and no family around, it's gotten harder to manage. The market is slow, so any advice on where to list our unit would be appreciated. We need to get it to move fast or we lose our new place!

I'm surprised you're considering leaving this amazing home. Many people have kids and no family nearby, and it's not that hard to manage. However, every situation is unique, and the current market is slow due to high interest rates.

The condo market is soft right now, especially with high interest rates. Your asking price is also on the higher end for a starter home, but you're close to the $1 million threshold, which has a lot of competition. Renting it out could potentially generate $6,000 to $9,000 per month, which isn't an unreasonable range.

What a beautiful condo. If I hadn't bought a house earlier this year, this would be my dream home. Unfortunately, I'm still dealing with buyer's remorse and the extra work that comes with owning a house.

Your condo is lovely, but the HOA monthly dues are a bit steep.

Compared to older buildings, your HOA fees are relatively low.
