ExpatsList Now Covers Miami

ExpatsList now covers Miami, United States. The city has its own directory, classifieds board, questions section and recommendations feed, all reachable from the Miami page.

Why Miami

This site exists for people who have moved somewhere and have to work out how it functions. Miami qualifies because Spanish works in most daily situations, which makes it one of the softest landings in the country for arrivals from Latin America.

What is here today

Honestly, not much yet. Coverage starts empty and fills in. The business directory is organised the same way as every other city we cover, with categories for housing and relocation, legal and immigration services, healthcare, schools and language courses, everyday repairs, and food. Listings are added over time rather than imported in bulk, so the early weeks will look sparse.

How to help

If you run a business in Miami that serves people who are new to the city, you can add it. If you have already been through the arrival paperwork here, the questions section is where someone three months behind you will look. Recommendations work best for the places that are hard to find without knowing somebody.

Corrections are welcome. If something on the Miami pages is wrong, say so and it gets fixed.
