Best way to travel from Luang Prabang or Vang Vieng to Hanoi?

Planning a trip from Chiang Mai to Chiang Rai, then to Luang Prabang and possibly Vang Vieng before heading to Hanoi. Looking for the easiest and most comfortable way to reach Hanoi from either Luang Prabang or Vang Vieng.

You can take the fast train from Luang Prabang to Vang Vieng, and use an app to buy tickets. Then, from Luang Prabang to Hanoi, you can take the bus, but be aware it's a long journey, or fly if you prefer a shorter option.

Flying from Luang Prabang to Hanoi is the best option, it's just not worth the 20 hours of dodging potholes on a bus to save $50.

A friend of mine took the bus from Luang Prabang to Hanoi a few months ago, and it was a 32 hour nightmare. I would recommend flying instead.

It's not worth the 30+ hour journey, just fly from Luang Prabang to Hanoi. It's a much more comfortable option.
