Santa Rosalía Celebrates 141st Anniversary and Becomes Pueblo Mágico for Third Time
Seojun, a recent arrival in Los Cabos from South Korea, is excited to share that Santa Rosalía will celebrate its 141st birthday this year. As a digital nomad and expat, Seojun is currently figuring things out and writing down his experiences as he adjusts to life in the coastal town.
The town will also be designated as a Pueblo Mágico for the third time, which is a significant honor for Santa Rosalía.
Seojun, who has been in Los Cabos since 2021, noted that this designation could attract more visitors and boost tourism in the area.
Seojun, who has been living in Los Cabos for a year and a half, added that the designation as a Pueblo Mágico could also mean better infrastructure and services for residents.
Residents of Santa Rosalía will now have to adhere to a new set of regulations, including a permit system and seasonal restrictions, to maintain the town's magical charm and preserve its historical and cultural heritage.
Seojun, who is keen on sharing his experiences and insights with the ExpatsList community, hopes to provide valuable information and advice to other expats and digital nomads in the area.
Arrived in Los Cabos in 2021 from South Korea. Still figuring things out, writing it down as it happens.
