Howl'oween at The Bentway: A Canine Costume Showdown

As autumn leaves begin to fall and temperatures drop, Toronto's canine community is ready to channel their inner superheroes and families for the annual Howl'oween costume contest at The Bentway. This year, the event is set for October 24, and it promises to be a high-energy afternoon of creativity and fun.

Starting at noon, owners and their four-legged friends can strut their stuff in one of four categories: Best DIY Costume, Best Family Costume, Judges’ Picks, and the new Best Pet Superhero Costume. Winners in the first three categories will receive $500 in prize packs courtesy of Ren’s Pets, while the Best Pet Superhero winner will take home a $500 cash prize from Kidde. Don’t miss out on the chance to see some seriously stylish pups and their owners!

The Bentway Skate Trail, located at 250 Fort York Blvd., will be the epicenter of the event, offering a festive atmosphere with pet-focused vendors from the Toronto Dog Moms Market. Warm drinks and treats will be on hand to keep everyone comfortable and in the Halloween spirit.
