For affordable nail options, check out Glamnetic press-ons and strip lashes at Marshalls/Winners. Buying these at Marshalls/Winners for $14 for nails and $6 for 2 sets of lashes has saved a lot of money over the last few months.

There's a jazz club called the Reservoir Lounge downtown which I thought was so fun when I went. Second this. This is one of my favorite places in the city.

Located in the lower level of First Canadian Place, Sundays Pasta Lab makes pasta on-site and it's cooked-to-order. The portions are quite big, starting at $10 for pasta with basil-tomato sauce or browned butter and sage, and you get to choose the shape of your pasta.

For walking around Toronto, you want to focus on something with grip and waterproofing. I’ve found that Winners / Marshall’s aren’t very good for deals and quality. Check out SportChek and/or Sporting Life maybe.

My game stores of choice to play are Face to Face (I've never had a problem getting a pod there) and Hairy Ts. I go at different days, but usually I go around this time. There's been times when I've had to wait a little bit to join a pod... but usually within 30 minutes I'm in a game and set for the rest of the night.

St Lawrence Market is a great place to find the best tomatoes in Toronto, especially the rustic beefsteak type. Those huge produce stores at the Front Street entrance always have a wide selection of fresh produce, including the nicest tomatoes. You can also find everything else you need to buy for your Pan con Tomate dish there.
