Villa Makax is a private beachfront property on the west side of Isla Mujeres, overlooking the turquoise waters of the Caribbean. The cottages are styled after traditional Mayan Palapas and crafted using the same skills and techniques used 1000 years ago. They offer a peaceful getaway with a private beach, heated saltwater pool, and stunning views of sunsets and the twinkling lights of Cancun in the distance.

The property is located near restaurants, shopping, and the Turtle preserve, and guests can be picked up for water tours at the private dock on the laguna side. The owners, Steve and Lindell, are dedicated to supporting the local community, particularly the challenged children of the island, and have established the Little Yellow School House, Amor a la Niñez.
