Parque Las Lagunas Opens Its Doors to Isla Mujeres: A New Space for Fitness and Fun
New recreational space brings residents and visitors together for outdoor activities and exercise. Just a few days after its official opening, the newly constructed Parque Las Lagunas has already become a go-to spot for families, young people, and sports enthusiasts in Isla Mujeres, Mexico.

Presidenta Municipal Atenea Gómez Ricalde, who leads the Ayuntamiento de Isla Mujeres, oversaw the project to provide a place for the community to enjoy and stay active. The park includes features like a jogging path, exercise equipment, a zip line, and various recreational areas.
Residents are already taking advantage of the facilities, using the park to exercise, play, and spend quality time with loved ones. The president highlighted the importance of seeing the park filled with people and praised the community's engagement with the space.
