The sun is setting over the Heights, casting a warm golden glow on the old buildings. As I walk past the historic Clock Tower, I notice a new sign announcing the opening of Hiatus Day Spa's second Houston location. This expansion is part of a broader plan to bring self-care closer to the community.

Hiatus Day Spa Brings Relaxation to the Heights

Hiatus Day Spa, based in Dallas, is expanding its presence in Houston with four new locations by 2027. The Heights location, set to open on October 24th at 629 W. 22nd Street, Suite 1, is the first to launch. CEO Kate Sazer, when first visiting the Houston spa, was immediately drawn to the culture and energy. She sees this expansion as a way to make self-care more accessible to more Houstonians.

The space at Clock Tower, dating back to 1894, will be transformed to blend historic charm with modern spa design. Warm stone, tambour wood, and brass accents will be used to create a relaxing environment. The opening includes special promos for new and first-time guests, offering a $50 spa credit for the first 100 members and 25% off the first visit until the end of the year.
