An overview of school holidays in Thailand

The education system in Thailand offers plenty of options for expats and local parents. The Ministry of Education (MOE) manages the public school system, whereas private schools fall under the responsibility of the International School Association of Thailand.

In both systems, children get school holidays. However, there are differences between term and administrative dates, as well as institution-specific days off.
