Vallarta Hotels Oppose 35.8% Hike in Foreign Visitor Fee

Hotels in Puerto Vallarta are not taking the 35.8% increase in the foreign visitor fee lying down. “As someone who has worked in the hotel zone for over a decade, I can see firsthand how sensitive our customer base is to additional costs,” says Patricia, a Vallartense who works at the front desk. “Every extra dollar can make the difference between a vacation being a go or no-go.”
