My friends and I are planning to dress up as the Blues Brothers for Halloween and we need some affordable black suits and fedoras. We're open to trying out thrift stores or any other place that sells suits at a low cost.

I recently saw a store on Steinway St between 30th and 31st Ave with a 'buy one get one' sign on suits. There's also a thrift store further down Steinway at 34th Ave and another on Ditmars.

You might find what you're looking for at a sports store located on Orchard Street in Manhattan.

Goodwill on E 14th, Housing Works on E 17th, and Savers out in West Hempstead are all good options. I've seen suits for around $10 at Savers.
