Isla Mujeres: Pepe Aguilar Highlights Municipal Transformations
Pepe Aguilar, the municipal syndic of Isla Mujeres, has emphasized the significant progress made in the municipality over the past five years. Speaking at the event 'Historias de la Transformación,' he highlighted over 170 projects and programs that have impacted the daily lives of island families, particularly in the Zona Insular and Ciudad Mujeres.
The initiatives cover a wide range of areas, from road and avenue paving to modernizing infrastructure, enhancing public spaces, and strengthening tourism-related facilities. Social programs aimed at women, fishing families, healthcare, and education have also been prioritized, reflecting a commitment to improving the quality of life for residents.
Aguilar stresses that a true transformation must extend to the homes of the island's inhabitants, making them a central focus of ongoing efforts.
