According to Carlos Trueba Coll, the airport's director, Terminal 1 is being reconstructed to handle regional flights, Terminal 2 is getting a boost for domestic flights, Terminal 3 is receiving strategic upgrades, and Terminal 4 is expanding for international flights. The road infrastructure is also getting a major overhaul, aiming to eliminate the notorious chokepoints that cause traffic congestion. This means smoother transfers for those of us who need to navigate the airport regularly.
