Police presence in Buckhead?

I was driving home last night and saw police all up and down 141/peachtree Rd in Buckhead, some blocking lanes, others parked in apartment lots or gas stations. They were on every block for probably 15 blocks. There were SUVS, patrol cars, and motorcylces. I couldn't find any news articles about it.

It's possible that JD Vance's visit has triggered increased security measures.

JD Vance is in Atlanta today, and I'm guessing that's the reason for the extra police presence.

Every exit on 75/85 has police and state troopers stationed at them.
