Halloween on Central Returns to Tampa Bay: A Must-Visit for Expats and Digital Nomads
Halloween is back in full force in Tampa Bay, and this year’s Halloween on Central promises to be the biggest yet, drawing thousands to St. Pete’s Central Avenue. The event, which shut down nearly two miles of the street to traffic, transforms the area into a free, candy-filled carnival from 12-5 p.m. on Sunday, October 25.

This family-friendly festival, co-sponsored by the City of St. Pete and partners like T-Mobile and EDGE Collective, features food trucks, performers, artists, and local vendors. Attendees can enjoy a two-block-long family-friendly zone, sensory-friendly areas, and Kooky Spooky Districts filled with shopping, entertainment, and games. The Tampa Bay Rays are offering free parking, and PSTA is providing free rides, making it an easy and convenient event to attend.
As an expat or digital nomad, Halloween on Central is a great opportunity to experience Tampa Bay’s community, try local cuisine, and enjoy the festive atmosphere. Whether you’re looking for a fun day out with the family or a chance to meet locals, this event has something for everyone.
Moved to Tampa from United States 4 years ago and stayed. Interested in how the town actually works.
