Central Florida Food Fest, one of the region's premier foodie events, is back at Bonnet Springs Park this fall, offering an evening of delicious culinary delights and live entertainment. As an expat living in Tampa since 2024, I've noticed that food festivals like this are a great way to experience the local culinary scene and meet fellow food enthusiasts. This event, which runs from 5-9 pm on Saturday, November 7, promises a night of sampling some of the region's best dishes and drinks, all under the stars.

What to Bring: Don't forget to bring your appetite! The food offerings are diverse, with individual bites and sips ranging from $6 to $10 each. You can sample a variety of dishes from participating vendors like Nineteen61, JJ’s Fusion Khaana, and Pinoy Cravings. Whether you're in for something sweet or savory, there's something for everyone.

What to Expect: The festival will feature live music from local DJs and bands. Tampa-based DJ Lady Shay will kick off the evening with a mix of electronic, pop, hip hop, and more. Following her, Central Florida groove-rock band Ripperdüski will provide high-energy original music, and Jacksonville-based six-piece Baba Caiman will close out the night with a lively blend of salsa, rock, merengue, and modern Latin fusion. The music will definitely enhance your dining experience.

Cost and Location: Tickets are available for $20 per person and include event parking. Bonnet Springs Park, located at 400 Bonnet Springs Blvd, will host the festival in the Harrell Family Botanical Gardens and the Event Center. This is a perfect opportunity for a night out in Lakeland, supporting the Park's mission to enrich the community through nature, culture, recreation, and education.

Mark your calendars for November 7 and get ready to indulge in some of the best local cuisine Tampa has to offer. This is a must-attend event for any foodie in the area.
