Celaya Launches Family Fun Run to Combat Addiction
As a resident of San Miguel de Allende, I am excited to share news about a new initiative aimed at combating addiction. Celaya City has organized a family-friendly run titled 'Para Vivir Sin Adicciones' (To Live Without Addictions), which will take place on October 11th at the EcoForum. The event features two distance options: a 5-kilometer race and relay races. Participants can register for the run through their official website.

The event not only serves as a fun and engaging way for families to participate in a community effort but also includes a kit and commemorative medal for all participants. For the relay race, there are additional awards to encourage teams to compete and support each other. The run also provides a platform to raise awareness about the challenges faced by those dealing with addiction.
It's worth noting that this initiative aligns with the CIJ Celaya's mission of promoting health and preventing substance abuse. The event is a perfect example of the community coming together to support one another and raise funds for addiction prevention programs. I am looking forward to this event and hope it will inspire more participation from the local community.
