Villas Morelos II: A Spark of Cleanliness with Chuleando tu Colonia

The municipality of Puerto Morelos has launched its Chuleando tu Colonia program in Villas Morelos II, focusing on cleaning and maintaining public spaces to improve the quality of life for residents. The initiative, spearheaded by Mayor Blanca Merari Tziu Muñoz, involves approximately 50 municipal workers from various departments. The participants in the event included the Secretariat of Public Services, the Welfare Secretariat, and the Security Department. During the event, the crew conducted various tasks such as tree trimming, sweeping, sweeping, garbage removal, and waste collection. A total of 80 cubic meters of cuttings, 14 cubic meters of garbage, and 20 garbage bags were collected. Additionally, a 3.5-ton truck, two garbage carts, three small trucks, and a lighting crane were utilized for the tasks. This comprehensive effort aims to make Villas Morelos II a cleaner and more comfortable place for its residents.
