Four years into my remote work life in Miami, it's always exciting to see local startups making waves. One such company, GoSprout, has just raised $1.2 million to enhance opportunities for apprenticeships and economic mobility. This is no small feat, especially considering the hurdles traditionally faced in this space.

GoSprout, founded by Carlos Vazquez, has simplified the paperwork and documentation process for apprenticeships, making it more accessible and less burdensome for employers, apprentices, and funders. The platform has already digitized over 500,000 training records, and now with the new funding, it's set to expand even more. Vazquez's journey is deeply personal-he's the first in his Puerto Rican family to graduate from college and has spent decades working to help underrepresented minorities succeed in tech and education.
