What's the deal with Ciudad Marsella?

What's the deal with Ciudad Marsella?

I'm thinking of buying a house there but I've heard mixed reviews about it. Some people say it's a great place with good security and a nice atmosphere, while others complain about the traffic, heat, and distance from other areas. I'd love to hear from someone who actually lives there.

It's about an hour's drive from other areas, which can be a problem if you don't have a car or a lot of money for gas. The heat can be terrible, especially in the summer, and there aren't many restaurants or shops in the area.

In addition to what others have said, I've heard that from Quartier 6 onwards, there's no internet service, and the water isn't provided by ANDA, but rather by the residential complex itself, which is pretty deficient.

It's not uncommon for new residential areas to take a while to get internet and cable services set up, and in some cases, residents may have to rely on satellite TV for a year or more.

The issue seems to be with construction permits and the fact that only certain internet providers are allowed to operate in the area, with TIGO or CLARO serving Quartier 2 and the rest of the area being served by the same owner of Marsella, who doesn't want to let anyone else in.

I live in Q11, and the only internet option is Digilife, but you can also opt for Starlink, which is satellite-based, or cable with CLARO, the electricity is provided by Edesal and is pretty expensive compared to Caess, the heat in the afternoons is unbearable, and I always have to turn on the air conditioning, the water service is now regular and safe, but it's a bit far from the city center, and it's not ideal for families of four.
