Planning a conference in Orlando in October with no car, staying in Bonnet Creek. Looking for a Japanese restaurant with a variety of dishes beyond sushi rolls.

To avoid the crowds, try visiting Susuru 15 minutes before opening or around 6:30 PM. If you're a couple, consider sitting at the bar for a more intimate experience.

If you're staying in the Bonnet Creek area, consider dining at Illume, located at the top of the JW Marriott. You can enjoy the Epcot fireworks display from a distance if you time it right. Susuru is also a great option. If you're a gamer, you can request a table and then head to Player One, a nearby arcade, to play classic games while you wait for your table to be ready. They allow re-entry after dinner, so you can return to your meal if you'd like.

We had a great experience at Susuru, both in terms of service and food. We visited after a convention and were impressed by the solid service on our first visit and the stellar service on our second. The food was excellent, with standout dishes like the hamachi-kama, which was one of the best in town. The robata items and wings were also very flavorful.
