Pumpkin patches with corn pits?

Pumpkin patches with corn pits?
Otro 5 answers • Kieran Shepherd
I'm looking for a fun fall activity for my family. We have young kids who love playing in corn pits and we're interested in visiting a pumpkin patch with this feature. We've tried a few patches in the area but haven't found one with a corn pit yet.

I'm picturing a pit filled with old corn cobs or fresh corn with those long, sharp leaves that can cause cuts. It sounds like a ball pit, but instead of balls, it's filled with corn.

A corn pit is actually a relatively shallow play area filled with dried corn kernels. Kids can play in it without getting lost, and the smooth corn doesn't cause any scratches.

That sounds like a much more pleasant experience.

A corn pit is essentially a ball pit, but instead of balls, it's filled with dried corn kernels. It may sound strange, but kids go crazy for it.
