Edna Arroyo, a digital marketing specialist, warned that nearly 70% of Cancún entrepreneurs do not have a website. During a CROC forum, she emphasized the importance of improving online presence and utilizing artificial intelligence to attract customers. Arroyo suggested creating a business profile on Google Maps, which is a free tool to display information like location, hours, contact details, and services. She also recommended strategies for search engine optimization (SEO) and the benefits of artificial intelligence in business.

Arroyo highlighted the significance of making it easier for potential clients to find a business by appearing in search results. She shared a case study of a solar panel company that saw a significant improvement in its online visibility after six months of optimization. Arroyo stressed that while offering a quality product or service is essential, so is making it easy for consumers to discover them online.

Arroyo also warned that relying too heavily on artificial intelligence for content or images can dilute the authenticity of a brand. She stressed the importance of customer reviews in building trust and credibility with internet shoppers.

Arroyo's message to entrepreneurs is that providing a good product or service alone is not enough; they must also make it easy for consumers to find their businesses online.
