What are the top schools in Bangkok for learning Thai?

I'm considering enrolling in a Thai language school in Bangkok and I'm trying to decide between AUA and Duke. I've heard that Duke is very fast-paced, but it has longer school days. I'm a slow learner and I tend to get anxious about taking tests, so I'm not sure if Duke is the right fit for me. I want to learn to speak, read, and write Thai, and I'm willing to practice outside of class using apps like Ling.

Taking classes at AUA in Chiang Mai in 2000 provided me with good instruction. With a daily schedule of 5 hours of class, you'll be speaking Thai in a few months.

So sad to hear that AUA is only offering 1.5 hours of class per day now.

Duke is a good choice, but if you really want to learn, take each class twice.
