I'm in Downtown Dubai and my internet is down, no connection to Du.

I'm planning to rent to try out different brands and models before deciding on which to buy. I'm fairly new to Dubai and hopefully will be able to get a driving license by November.

I've noticed that when I use my Gold Nol Card to tap in at a standard gate, the fare seems to be double the standard rate, which I find a bit confusing.

I've been driving around for more than 30 minutes looking for parking around Naif Deira. Then I saw a space from a distance and I was so happy and relieved that I’ve finally got a space. I got there and saw this guy parking his motorcycle there, asked him if he’s allowed to park there and he said yes that he’s also paying for the parking. I felt really angry because it seems like a waste of space for a bike parking there.

I'm planning on moving to JBR from Abu Dhabi and my office is in Masdar. I want to know if the drive is manageable.

I've been getting fines from Sharjah municipality every week from 24 Aug till 28 Sep of AED 150 each saying “failure to purchase a valid ticket” I haven’t been to Sharjah in atleast 4-5 months. Why is this happening? My car was due for renewal last month(Sep2026). Now I can’t use my car at all bcuz driving an unregistered/expired license car gets u 500AED fine and 4 black points, I think. Is someone using my license plate in Sharjah or a possible error in scanning by a camera?

I've been noticing a bottleneck on the 311 Ras Al Khor exit towards Sharjah in the morning, and I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced similar issues since the restrictions were enforced on October 1st.

I'm planning to move to South Africa with my kitten and I'm looking for advice on traveling with them from Dubai. I've heard horror stories about some airlines, but I've heard Emirates is a good option. I also considered flying with Etihad, but they don't go to my final destination. Can anyone share their experience with traveling with cats from Dubai, specifically with Emirates or Etihad?
