I just had my worst commute home in 6 years. Took 2.5 hours and had to just avoid all Gardiner West-bound on-ramps until Etobicoke. What's going on?

I've noticed traffic is building up later than usual today, and it's now bumper to bumper going west. Normally, the roads are clear by this time. I'm guessing people are taking tomorrow off for Thanksgiving and heading out today.

If you're not on the road by 2pm, you're in for a long wait. Just getting to the ramp can take 45 minutes, and that's not even considering the rest of your journey.

I was driving from Port Credit to downtown yesterday at 5 pm, and it took 45 minutes. While it's not the worst commute every day, it's certainly not ideal.

The 45-minute drive from Port Credit to downtown is unacceptable, especially considering it's a relatively short distance.

The Gardiner repairs have resumed, focusing on the Etobicoke section that was delayed during the World Cup.

This traffic congestion has been a persistent issue for months, and it's not showing any signs of improvement.

The drive is getting progressively worse, especially heading west. The traffic is building up earlier than usual, and it's taking longer to get through the congested areas.
