Reserva Conchal recently organized a free breast mammogram event, aiming to raise awareness about breast cancer and provide access to healthcare services for nearby communities. The initiative, coordinated with the Costa Rican Social Security Institute (CCSS), took place over two days in October. The event was open to women aged 40 and above who had not undergone a mammogram in the past year and to those on CCSS waiting lists in nearby Villarreal and Cabo Velas communities. The initiative, which began in 2023, is part of Reserva Conchal's ongoing commitment to employee health and community support.

“Prevention and early detection are crucial for our health. At Reserva Conchal, we strive to offer opportunities for access to these screenings and promote conversations that remind us of the importance of self-care and timely healthcare,” said Gabriela Meza, Sustainability Manager at Reserva Conchal. This initiative is part of the organization's commitment to its employees, families, and nearby communities, promoting preventive actions, awareness campaigns, and responsible relationships.

The event included a run/walk activity, which has been held annually since 2019 and has grown to attract 100 participants each year, including collaborators, families, owners, rentiers, and strategic partners. This year, the event also welcomed family members of collaborators and new strategic allies like ST, Metropolitano Hospital, Costa Rican Firefighters, National Conservation Areas (Sinac), and OCC Consultores.
