Upcoming Maintenance by LUMA Energy in Santurce and Surrounding Areas

Residents and digital nomads in Santurce and nearby municipalities will experience planned power outages this Thursday as LUMA Energy conducts essential maintenance and infrastructure improvements. While most of the work will be concentrated in areas like Cidra, Gurabo, and San Lorenzo, there are also specific outages and construction projects in San Juan and other areas.

What to Expect: Some key areas that will see work include Hatillo, Arecibo, San Juan, Yabucoa, and others. For those in these areas, it's advised to prepare for potential power interruptions or delays in service. Additionally, if you're planning to travel or have outdoor activities, check the status of these areas to avoid any inconvenience.

What You Can Do: Make sure to have an emergency kit on hand, including flashlights, batteries, and a fully charged phone. Also, be mindful of the weather and keep an eye on the status of these outages, as updates may be issued closer to the time.
