Where can I find spicy chips in Bangkok?

I'm a Thai-American who's back in Bangkok after 15 years in Chicago. I live in Ari and I'm looking for some spicy chips to snack on. I've been to Big C and I couldn't find any that are actually spicy. I've tried the ones that claim to be hot, but they're just mild.

I'm not aware of any spicy chip snacks in Bangkok, but I do enjoy eating bento, which is dried squid with a spicy sauce that really burns. If you're looking for something lighter, I recommend deep-fried chili.

You might want to try the Koikeya super hot chili flavor chips.

If you're looking for something spicy, consider Karamucho's 'Strong' original flavor, Pringles' red hot chilli flavor, or Mr. Potato's ghost pepper chips. Alternatively, you might want to try the mala flavored Taro fish strips.

I've had these before and they're pretty good.

Apparently, most people in SE Asia prefer snacks with more complex flavor combinations or exotic flavors, rather than just high concentrations of chili. We're used to a balance of all flavors, including sweet, salty, sour, bitter, and spicy. Western-style hot chips might be a bit one-dimensional for us.
