Can I claim plasma donation money as income on Housing Connect?

I'm a veterinarian in NYC and I'm trying to find a way to increase my income to qualify for more apartments through Housing Connect. I recently changed jobs and now my income puts me in a weird spot with the AMI categories.

You can report any income from plasma donation to the relevant authorities, which might help your income qualify for a higher AMI bracket. You'll receive a prepaid debit card and a 1099 form at the end of the year if you donate frequently.

Plasma donors receive a prepaid debit card and a 1099 form at the end of the year if they donate frequently. However, income from plasma donation is considered taxable income, and authorities like Housing Connect may count it as such.

I already donate plasma occasionally, but I'm considering donating regularly to boost my income and fill the gap in my AMI. I'm hoping it will take me out of this weird income bracket.

Plasma donation isn't a regular source of income, as you can only donate every two weeks or so.

You can donate plasma twice a week, but it's not a regular source of income.
