Fair trade-in value for a Mercedes-Benz in Miami?

Fair trade-in value for a Mercedes-Benz in Miami?
Transport 4 answers • Nienke Koster
I'm looking to trade in a fully paid off 2025 Volvo XC40 with under 12,000 miles and no damage for a Mercedes-Benz in Miami. I've never traded in a car here before, so I'm not sure what to expect.

It's a good idea to get quotes from multiple sources, including Carvana and Carmax, to ensure you're getting a fair deal. You might also want to visit a dealership on NW 36th St in Miami to compare prices.

Dealerships often try to lowball you. To avoid this, get an online quote from Carmax and Carvana. Their offer is valid for 7 days. When you visit the dealership, negotiate the out-the-door price for the Benz you want. If you have a trade-in, like a Volvo, mention it and see how the dealer reacts. They might be puzzled, and the negotiation process will likely become more complicated.

Buying a car from a dealership can be a tricky process. Consider selling it privately for cash to avoid potential scams.

If you're in the market for a Benz, you might want to call a leasing company in Ft Lauderdale to see if they can offer a better deal on a trade-in. They might be able to provide a more competitive price than Carmax or Carvana. Just be sure to call them on Monday, as they might not be open the next day.
