How to meet fellow residents on Palm Jumeirah?

I live on one of the Fronds with my wife and doggos, we're early 30s, I own a couple of companies, I'm a fund manager, and entrepreneur into other fields. Fitness is a strong part of my lifestyle, almost as much as fine dining and cultural explorations. My wife is 3 months pregnant. I'm Australian and she's Russian.

It seems that people living on the Palm tend to keep to themselves, at least from the outside. They may be digitally quiet lurkers, preferring to maintain a low profile.

I've noticed that many residents on the Palm don't even walk their own dogs - their maids do that for them. I have maids too, but I love walking my dogs and interacting with the community. It's a great way to get some exercise and socialize.

Many of the villas on the Palm are used as vacation homes, which can make it seem like a lot of the fronds are empty. Those who do live there may have demanding careers or be frequently traveling, which could explain why they're not always visible in the community.

One way to break the ice with your neighbors is to offer them a homemade dessert or sweet from your country. Just be sure to check that it's halal. You could also invite them over for a dinner or gathering, and consider separating the men and women to ensure everyone feels comfortable. Don't forget to keep your dogs outside and avoid serving any haram food or alcohol.
