Music Box Theater 3 experience?

Music Box Theater 3 experience?
Nightlife 5 answers • gabriel
I'm trying to decide between theaters 1 and 3 at the Music Box for a movie screening. I've heard that theater 3 has a new screen, but I'm not sure if it has the same issue with tall people blocking the screen. Can anyone who's been to theater 3 recently tell me about their experience?

The seats in Theater 3 are more similar to modern theater seats than those in the main theater, so you'll likely have a comfortable experience.

I think Theater 3 is the best regular movie viewing experience. I haven't had any issues with tall people, but I do try to move to a seat that minimizes the obstruction. Additionally, they have two 'loveseat' sections in the back that are raised above everyone else, but you'll need to be one of the first people there to get them.

Compared to Theater 1, Theater 3 is a big improvement. The seats are more like those in an auditorium, with a distinct step between the rows, rather than the slight slope of Theater 1. As someone who's relatively short, I've never had any issues in Theater 3.

During a movie, I had to deal with someone's large head blocking part of the screen, but I managed to see everything. It wasn't the ideal viewing experience, but it didn't ruin the movie for me.

The seats in Theater 3 slope down, which makes them more modern in design. They're also more cushioned than those in Theater 1. However, I still find Theater 1 to be more comfortable, possibly because the seats are wider.
