Puerto Santo is a local restaurant near Puerto Juarez, closer than going into the Hotel Zone. It's right on the beach with fishing boats in front of you. They have amazing seafood, making it one of the best local restaurants in the area. If you're staying at Villa del Palmar, it's definitely worth a visit for a more authentic Cancún experience.

Dreams Rivera Cancun has a great kid-friendly area in one shallow pool, a beautiful infinity pool with a swim-up bar where kids can be too, and good rooms with private pools. They also have a free arcade, the Core Zone Teens Club, which is complementary to resort guests, making it an excellent choice for families with kids who love video games and activities.
