Mundial Mujeres Libres Cancún: Celebrating Inclusion and Sports for Women
Residents and expats in Cancún have another exciting community event to look forward to as the Mundial Mujeres Libres Cancún Fase Regional Sur-Península kicks off this month. The initiative, with the support of the municipal president, Ana Paty Peralta, brought together female athletes from seven states to promote women's participation and inclusion through sports.

The event took place at the Guillermo Cañedo sports field and featured competitive matches, a ceremony for awarding winners, and a showcase of local female entrepreneurs. The tournament also provided a platform for networking and support among women, highlighting the importance of safe spaces that foster discipline and collaboration.
Organized in collaboration with the federal government and local authorities, this tournament aims to open opportunities for girls and young women in sports and public life. The presence of representatives from the Secretaría de las Mujeres of the Government of Mexico underlined the significance of these efforts.
