Cancún Continues to Offer Free Workshops and Training
The Ayuntamiento de Benito Juárez in Cancún has provided free workshops and training to both municipal workers and residents, with a total of 9,850 participants since the initiative began. Ana Paty Peralta, the president of Cancún, highlighted that 6,904 municipal workers and 2,946 residents have benefited from these programs. The recent additions include courses on artificial intelligence and digital tools, as well as training for law enforcement and ethics certification. Peralta emphasized that the continuous training helps staff utilize new technologies, improve their work, and provide more personalized service to citizens.

Additionally, 700 police officers received specialized training in handling detainees, and four public servants obtained the Certification in Public Service Ethics from the Quintana Roo State Anticorruption and Good Governance Secretariat and the Quintana Roo State Anticorruption System Secretariat (SESAEQROO). The city's goal is to systematically streamline processes, foster innovation, and speed up municipal department operations.
The initiative also allows for the systematic improvement of law enforcement and public servants' ethics, which is expected to benefit a vast majority of the target population. Interested individuals can enroll in upcoming workshops and training programs.
