Ana Paty Peralta Inspects Janal Pixan 2026 Preparations
Redacción / Grupo Cantón
Ana Paty Peralta, the president of Cancún, recently inspected the preparations for the fourth edition of the Janal Pixan 2026, set to take place in Puerto Juárez from October 30 to November 2. The event celebrates the Day of the Dead with cultural and artistic performances.

Peralta, alongside Carlos López Jiménez, the director of the Instituto de la Cultura y las Artes, visited the Teatro de la Ciudad to observe part of the rehearsals for 'El camino de los abuelos,' a 40-minute performance that will take place on the beach near Puerto Juárez. The production includes five municipal companies: Teatro, Coro, Ballet Folclórico, Orquesta de Cámara, and Coro Infantil.
For accessibility, the city will provide free shuttle services from Malecón Tajamar and El Crucero, departing from 17:00 to 23:00 on October 30, November 1, and November 2. Families are encouraged to enjoy the local talent and cultural festivities, including traditional music, dance, and food during the four-day celebration.
